... because it's the start of my favorite season. although, i'd like it much better if it actually looked and felt like fall. this is when i really hate living in the freakin' desert. would it be weird if i bought some fake fall -like leaves and just sprinkled them all over my front lawn?

i'm hoping to get to "fall-ify" my house in the next few days. i add one new holiday handmade decor item every year. the new one is in progress and i'm crossing my fingers it turns out as cute as it is in my head. i'll be sure to share it if it does. heh. this was last year's project:

in other news... the new challenge is up over at simply ArTistiC! jenny tucker presented us with a fun "Alice in Wonderland" flower challenge and omgoodness... you must see what our GD and the other ArTCees whipped up for this one. super cute.

Um, yum! I ate a caramel apple last night, but that one looks way more special! I too LOVE fall and October is my favorite month. We usually head up north to Hearts Prairie in Flag to see the leaves and I must eat pumpkin stuff as much as possible until December.
My favorite things to do in the fall are drink Caramel Apple Cider and go apple picking.
Note: living where it's *actually* fall isn't always awesome. This whole 50*ish weather blows.
